ABOUT PROYECTO TITÍ
Over 35 years of conservation results and permanent impact
Cotton-Tops forever
Proyecto Titi was founded to protect the critically endangered cotton-top tamarin, a one-pound monkey found only in the tropical forests of northern Colombia. Through public education and engagement, the protection and restoration of forest habitat, creating community empowerment programs and performing industry-leading field research, Proyecto Titi helps ensure the survival of critically endangered species and the biodiversity of our planet.
Proyecto Titi works in collaboration with regional environmental authorities, the Colombian government and local organizations to ensure the long term success of their climate and conservation work.
Mission driven lead
Rosamira Guillen, Founder and Executive Director of Fundación Proyecto Tití, sees Proyecto Tití as a model for effective conservation programs in Colombia. The team's commitment to saving critically endangered species and to helping educate local communities to become committed, engaged and passionate conservationists will help ensure a permanent legacy for local Colombians, and for our planet.
