Giving the Gift of a Forest
Imagine having a piece of the forest in your own home, where you can physically see the impact of your efforts to preserve it. We wanted to create just that — a unique opportunity to connect with nature and make a difference. We made a physical map that not only displays the specific acreage of the forest you helped preserve, but also the name and environmental impact of your donation in a fun and interactive way.
Meet our personalized physical map. This map not only shows the specific acreage that your donation helped preserve, but it also includes the name of the forest. This personal touch allows our donors to feel a sense of ownership and pride in their conservation efforts. It’s a tangible reminder of the positive impact they are making and it hangs on their wall as a daily inspiration.
But it’s not just a pretty picture, the map also includes scientific metrics that clearly quantify the environmental impact of your donation. You can find numerous details like the number of trees planted, the tons of CO2 removed per year, and the income generated for local communities. We are committed to keeping you informed about the progress of your conservation efforts. Every map comes with a unique QR code! You can use this to easily check updates anytime from your phone.
Our goal was to minimize the carbon footprint of the production process while supporting the local economy and preserving traditional craftsmanship. To achieve this, we sourced all materials for our maps within a 3-mile radius, using reclaimed, upcycled, and biodegradable materials. Our canvas frames are made of pressed wood and assembled by local photo framers, while the storage boxes are handcrafted from reclaimed wood by experienced carpenters. The flags are custom-designed through laser cutting and hand painting, using MS sheet, and all personalized notes and packaging materials are made from recycled paper.
Our production process emphasizes the human touch - supporting local craftsmanship at every stage: from printing and framing the canvas, constructing the wooden box, painting the flag, creating personalized notes, to packing the final product. By engaging local communities in the process, we not only strengthen the local economy but also help preserve traditional craftsmanship.
Our physical map serves as a powerful tool for our donors to understand and connect with their conservation efforts in a fun and interactive way. It’s a tangible representation of the positive impact they are making and a reminder that every small effort counts in preserving our planet’s natural beauty. At ReWorld, we want to make conservation fun, interactive, sustainable, and a good way to connect with the local communities. For more information check out www.reworld.eco and follow us on Instagram.
